
The National TV and Radio Council held its meeting on Thursday. The Council reviewed the appeals of independent TV and radio companies Antenn, Dunya and Mingachevir to prolong their broadcasting licenses.
Referring to article 22.3 of the TV and radio broadcasting law, the Council decided to prolong their licenses for six years. The Council didn’t prolong the license for Sky Ltd cable network in accordance with the requirements of the article 22.3 of the TV and radio broadcasting law because it didn’t appeal for it.
