Azerbaijani Parliament to hold preliminary discussion on culture law

Azerbaijani Parliament will hold preliminary discussion on the new draft law on Culture during its autumn session, chairman of the parliament’s committee on culture Nizami Jafarov said.

He said the current law, which was adopted in the beginning of 1990s, didn’t meet contemporary requirements and many issues described in this law had declarative character.

The new draft is more different and contains such notions like producer, show business and other issues related to the creative people and organizations.
