Director of Czech National Library visits Central Scientific Library of ANAS

Director of the Czech National Library Tomas Bohm has today visited the Central Scientific Library of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Director of Central Scientific Library, doctor of philology Aybeniz Aliyeva-Kangarli briefed the guest on the history and activity of the library. She underlined progress achieved in international book exchange.

Kangarli also said that the library cooperates with 1000 organizations in 73 countries, including 11 organizations in Czech Republic. The sides discussed further expansion and development of cooperation between the two countries libraries.

Bohm viewed literature exhibition reflecting Azerbaijan-Czech cultural cooperation. Speaking in the meeting, Director of the Czech National Library highlighted the importance of such meetings towards development of bilateral ties.
