Mehriban Aliyeva: Azerbaijan medicine reached major milestone in its development

“In recent years the Azerbaijan medicine reached major milestone in its development”, said First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva in her address to the participants of the 61st session of the World Health Organization`s Regional Committee for Europe, which has opened today in Baku.

“As a result of reforms, material and technical facilities of the medical establishments underwent fundamental change. New healthcare services meeting modern requirements have been created; progress has been achieved also in private sector development”, says the address.
