Details of student admission new model publicized in Azerbaijan

Some details of a new model of student admission, which is planned to begin in 2014 publicized, in Azerbaijan.

Chairwoman of the State Students Admission Commission Maleyka Abbaszadehy said that use of the new model was described in Azerbaijan’s law on education: “The consideration of attestation mark, use of open tests will be reflected in the new model. At present moment the open tests are used in mathematics. The open test will be used also in the other subjects. Of course, if the open tests are used, their validation styles, the writing of these tests will be different. Certain elements will enter to the admission process every year gradually”.

SSAC chairwoman said that, the novelties which will be used this year will be announced after the discussion of scientific and statistical results of enrollment 2011-2012. But the new model will be completely used starting in 2014.
