09 September 2011 [12:00] - TODAY.AZ
“Today police has enough capacity to fulfill duties”, Deputy Interior Minister of Azerbaijan Oruj Zalov told attendants of the training course for the local election officials in Baku.

The deputy minister said during the parliamentary elections last year there were some problems with ID-cards. “Some people didn’t change the ID-cards because of age, so their cards were considered as invalid. But as a result of election commissions’ interference their voting right was ensured and they voted. The citizens should be interested in changing of outdated ID-cards. We conduct education work among the citizens. Today the citizens reaching age of 16 can receive ID-card without any problem. 99 percent of such people have already received ID-cards”.
