Azerbaijani police to tighten security measures during the Ramadan holiday

Azerbaijani police will tighten security measures duirng the holidays, spokesman for the Interior Ministry Ehsan Zahidov said.

He noted that Interior Minster Colonel-General Ramil Usubov signed an order, which considers tightening the security measures by the staffs of all bodies and units of the Interior Ministry from August 28 till September 1 to enhance security of citizens and foreign guests. The security measures will be strengthened mostly in leisure and residential areas during the Ramadan Holiday in Azerbaijan.

The order also demands the establishment of daily operational groups, quick response to incidents, the adoption of measures for prevention of undesirable cases in the leisure areas, especially in places where festivities are held.
