Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory publicizes date of Ramadan Holiday in Azerbaijan

Shamakhi-based Tusi Astrophysical Observatory of the Azerbaijani Academy of Sciences publicized the concrete date of Ramadan Holiday in Azerbaijan.

The Observatory’s director Eyyub Guliyev said that the new moon will rise at 8.00 on August 29:

“Maybe it will not be seen with an open eye. That’s why everybody must fast. August 29 is considered as the eve of holiday. And holiday itself is on August 30.”
