Azerbaijan’s navigation map to be presented on the eve of "Eurovision-2012 contest"

On the eve of Eurovision-2012 song contest, Nokia company will present navigation map of Azerbaijan to smartphone users.

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Communications and IT says the software necessary for planning of Nokia Maps routes and working with the maps will be tested in September.

Navigation system on Azerbaijan is expected to present in January of 2012 and thereafter it will be possible to download the program at Nokia Stores.

Navigation map of Azerbaijan features motor ways and residential areas. Moreover, Nokia Maps program also includes the function of launching of routes. This service is presented free-of-charge. The service is used for maintenance and sending of information on different places shown in the map as a dot, as well as for downloading of maps and schemes of the cities. The function for work with maps and calculation of routes is presented free-of-charge.

Network operator can demand a payment for sending of information. By paying extra money, a user gets a guide book and extended navigation functions. Extended GPS navigation system of Nokia Maps has been provided with audio instruction.
