Azerbaijan to hold municipal elections this year

The municipal elections will be held in Azerbaijan this year, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan Mazahir Panahov told journalists.

The elections will be held to the vacant municipalities: “These will be enough comprehensive elections. An announcement on the elections will be issued in September. The elections will be held 60 days after the announcement. Probably the elections will be held in autumn”.
