Azerbaijani Army’s high-ranking officer arrested for bribery charge

A high-ranking officer of the Azerbaijani Army was arrested, Ganja Military Court sources said.

Major Emin Heydarov, who was serving at the Defense Ministry’s military unit based in Ganja, is charged with corruption. The Republican Military Prosecutor’s Office launched criminal investigation against him according to article 311.3.2 (bribery).
