ANAMA sends demining vehicle to Turkey

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) sent one mechanical demining vehicle to Turkey for mine-action operations, ANAMA tsaid.

“Bozena” mechanical demining vehicle will be used by the experts of ANAMA-“Nokta Investment and Construction” consortium in the clearance of territories opened for mine action in Gaziantep province, on Turkey-Syria border.

The mine action operations are being carried out near the remains of antique Karkamis city.

ANAMA-“Nokta Investment and Construction” consortium, which carries out the mine actions operation in the antique territory for the first time in the world, fully cleared the 680 thousand sq meters area in the border zone, where the remains of ancient Karkamis city are situated.
