Fire blazed up in Lankaran’s Children Health Center

A fire blazed up yesterday in the administrative building of the Children Health Center in Lankaran region of Azerbaijan.

The incident took place on Thursday at about 16.00.

The fire covered one of the administrative rooms on the ground floor of the center. About 30 medical personnel were evacuated from the building. Two firefighting vehicles and firefighters arrived at site. The fire was extinguished in 30 minutes. It damaged the electricity system and furniture. No casualties were reported.

According to the preliminary version, short circuit in the power lines caused the fire, but final report will be made after the full investigation.
