Draft law on protection of memorial monuments and places elaborated in Azerbaijan

The parliament of Azerbaijan is expected to discuss a draft law on the protection of memorial monuments and places during its autumn session, culture committee of the parliament said.

The draft law contains issues concerning the protection and determination of the status of cemeteries, local tombs, memorial plates and other memorial places.

The draft law was elaborated by member of the parliament’s culture committee, MP Rafael Huseynov.
