Rector of Baku State University meets representative of U.S. Department of Justice

Rector of the Baku State University Abel Maharramov has met Regional Director for Eurasia, Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance and Training (OPDAT), Criminal Division, U.S. Department of Justice Catherine Newcombe.

Maharramov highlighted the activity of the faculty. The Rector said the university enjoys high-level cooperation with foreign counterarts, in particular with higher educational institutions of the United States.

Mrs. Newcombe and Maharramov discussed a number of issues of mutual interest. Resident Legal Advisor to Azerbaijan of U.S. Department of Justice Erik Peterson was present at the meeting.
Then, Newcombe toured the university.
