73 inspections carried out at investigation structures of Azerbaijani Republic Military Prosecutor’s Office

Military prosecuting authorities completed the investigation of a number of grievous crimes, control over the improvement of the initial investigation, observation of the requirements of the criminal procedure law in the first half of 2011.

It was said at the board meeting of the Republic Military Prosecutor’s Office, APA reports.

73 inspections were carried at the investigation structures of the Republic Military Prosecutor’s Office, 965 wrongdoings were revealed, 166 notices were sent for elimination of the causes and conditions of the wrongdoings, 68 persons were warned, 37 criminal proceedings were launched, 58 written instructions were given concerning the pending cases.

Public prosecution department ensured allowance of 47 percent of the 30 appeals against the decisions of the courts of first instance.

1137 appeals were considered, 1789 citizens were received by the representatives of the Military Prosecutor’s Office in the first half of 2011.
