Health Ministry: Most of food poisoning cases in Azerbaijan caused by fertilized watermelon and other garden crops

“Most of the food poisoning cases in Azerbaijan today is caused by fertilized watermelon and other garden crops”, said deputy Health Minister of Azerbaijan Elsever Agayev.

Hot weather increased the risk of food poisoning, said Agayev and noted that there is no serious agioatage around the food poisoning in the country now. “The Health Ministry is controlling the situation”.

Deputy Minister said the people are educated to avoid possible complications and the medical centers also received necessary instructions.
