Protest action attempt outside Chinese embassy in Azerbaijan

A group of young people attempted to hold an action outside the Chinese embassy in Baku on Wednesday in a protest against the discrimination policy, persecution and arrest against the Uigur Turks in China’s Eastern Turkustan province.

The protesters marched toward the Chinese embassy at about 12.00, but police didn’t allow them to approach the embassy’s building. They were withdrawn from the site. The protesters chanted slogans in support of Uigur Turks, but were not allowed to present protest resolution to the embassy.
