One person detained over attack on Azercell employees and seizure of large sum of money in Azerbaijan’s capital

One of those who attacked Azercell employees in Baku and seized a large sum of money has been detained, Interior Ministry’s press service said.

Baku resident Nijat Mammadov, who is accused of knifing Azercell LLC employee Namig Huseynov, using tear gas against Bayram Bayramov and seizing AZN 34 000, has been detained by Narimanov district police. Two other participants of the crime have been determined. They are Ganja resident Aslan Mahmudov and Goygol resident Ugrun Mammadov. Measures are being taken to detain them.
