Russian youth visits Baku State University

Representatives of the Youth Public Chamber of Russia visited the Baku State University on Friday (BSU) as part of their visit to Azerbaijan at the invitation of Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.

The meeting discussed the boosting of cooperation between the universities of Azerbaijan and Russia and other issues. Russian youth was informed on BSU`s teaching programs and foreign languages, which are taught in the university. Vice rector of the BSU Sani Hajiyev spoke about Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict`s obstacles to development of Azerbaijani education.

He said IDPs, forced by Armenians to leave their native lands, were settled in the university`s hostels. Russian representatives get familiar with scientific-research centers and sport complexes of the BSU.
