Some scientific institutions of Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry and some organizations of ANAS will merge

A number of scientific institutions of the Agriculture Ministry and some organizations of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) will merge into the newly-established Agrarian Department under ANAS, first vice-president of the academy Arif Hashimov said.

According to him, the Agrarian Department is new and has not been formed completely.

“For now it is under the Biological Department. After it is formed completely, it will function as a separate department,” he said.

Hashimov said the regulations of the academy had already been changed in connection with the establishment of the Agrarian Department. President signed an executive order to carry out agrarian reforms in the country. Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences has already given proposals concerning this.
