Remains of dead bodies of crew members of Azerbaijani plane crashed in Afghanistan may be delivered to Baku tomorrow, Azerbaijani ambassador to Pakistan and Afghanistan Dashgin Shikarov told Trend on Saturday.
"An Azerbaijani airplane will be sent to Kabul in the next few hours to deliver the remains of crew members’ dead bodies to the country, which are now in one of the hospitals in Kabul," Shikarov said. "They may be delivered to Baku no later than tomorrow," he added.
Samples were taken from relatives of crew members of the Azerbaijani plane crashed in Afghanistan on the night of July 6 to conduct DNA examination in order to identify remains of the victims’ dead bodies, a member of the Azerbaijani commission on investigation of the accident Adil Gasimov told Trend on Saturday.
"Dead bodies that will be identified as a result of DNA examination will be returned to relatives. Those, whose dead bodies can not be identified will be declared missing," Gasimov, advisor to the Silk Way Airlines Director, said.
