International symposium on first human settlements in Nakhchivan kicks off

An international symposium titled “Nakhchivan: as a place of first human settlement and urban planning” has started here. The symposium participants viewed a book exhibition featuring history of first human settlement and urban planning in Nakhchivan as part of the symposium.

On his opening remarks, chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Vasif Talibov noted the importance of the event. He briefed the symposium participants on the progress achieved to learn the history of Nakhchivan.

Scientists from Azerbaijan, France, US, Turkey, Ukraine, made reports on the relevant issue.
