Azerbaijan arrests soldier who shot friend

A soldier reported to have shot a fellow soldier was arrested in Azerbaijan.

A soldier from the Defense Ministry’s Military Unit "N" in the Beylagan region, Arif Jafarov, shot a fellow soldier Yusifov Hikmet on Wednesday as a result of weapon mishandling. Jafarov was arrested, the Ministry’s Deputy Spokesman Teymur Abdullayev said.

Jafarov hid after the incident. He has already been transferred to the investigating authorities.
