
Courses for foreign diplomats have today been launched at Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA).
The courses, entitled “The study of Caspian region countries”, bring together 14 diplomats from Asia and Africa countries.
Addressing
the opening ceremony, Azerbaijani deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
and rector of ADA Hafiz Pashayev said that diplomats will be informed on
Azerbaijan and Caspian Region countries. Pashayev highlighted the
importance of the courses on the education of world pubic on Azerbaijan
truths. He underlined that the main aim of the courses is to inform
diplomats, working in UN, on processes going on in the region.
Representatives
of Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ADA, the State Oil Company
of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and the Azerbaijan Export and
Investments Promotion Foundation (AzPROMo) will deliver lectures for
participants in the ten-day course.
Diplomats also will visit Guba,
Gobustan, Sangachal terminal, Bibiheybat Mosque and a number of cultural
places, museums and must-see-places.
