3% of Azerbaijani population are...Facebook users

Number of web sites registered as .az domain increased by 9.57% during 6 months of 2011.

According to Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, 11,926 internet resources have been registered as .az domain.

Note that, number of domains is 131 mln in the world. According to World Economic Forum, Azerbaijan ranks 44th among the 138 countries for usage of social networks. Facebook social network covers 3% of Azerbaijani population.
