Azerbaijani doctors warn: Don’t remain in the open air from 11.00 till 17.00

Five with sunstroke applied to Baku Emergency Medical Aid Station within two days.

So, the number of the patients with sunstroke reached 43, head physician of Baku Emergency Medical Aid Station Mursal Hamidov said. He said two of the five patients were hospitalized, three were given medical aid and discharged. “Totally, 14 were hospitalized, the rest were given medical aid and discharged,” he said.

Hamidov said only four of those persons got sunstroke at the beaches. The rest 39 got sunstroke in the city, in the open air.

The doctor addressed the people: “Most of those who got sunstroke are young. We warn the people once more not to remain in the open air from 11.00 till 17.00. Those who are engaged in agricultural activity, construction, communications and other spheres are advised to work in the shade.”
