Azeri students visit Korea

Members of the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations` Union and students of the country`s various universities have visited Korea. The visit took place according to a memorandum of understanding between Azerbaijan Ministry of Youth and Sport and National Youth Commission of Korea. During the visit, Azeri students have held meetings at the International Youth Center and Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

The meetings discussed implementation of the youth policy in Azerbaijan and Korea and prospects for cooperation in youth sphere. The Azeri youth have also held Azerbaijan national day event at the conference hall of the Lexington hotel in Seoul. The event attended by deputy chair of Korea Youth Exchange Center Park Woong, coordinator for Korea-Azerbaijan International youth exchange program Kim Hyun Sung, as well as Korean and Polish youth.

The attendees were informed about Azerbaijan`s history, culture and traditions. At the secondary school in Busan city, Azerbaijani youth have introduced Korean pupils to Azeri dances and alphabet. The Azeri students have also visited Hyundai company`s plant in Ulsan city.
