Period of admission of e-applications for vacant positions to Azerbaijani comprehensive schools finished

The period of admission of e-applications for the vacant positions declared on employment of teachers to the Azerbaijani comprehensive schools finished.

Education Ministry’s department for strategic studies and management of personnel told APA that the admission of e-applications from teachers started on July1 and continued till July 15 18.00. According to the information, 8753 filed to vacant positions up to now. Majority of the applications was presented on teachers of primary class, English, Azerbaijani language and literature. 1706 e-applications are on specialties of primary class, 1509 – English, 1291 – Azerbaijani language and literature, 972 – mathematics, 703 – history, 486 – physics, 414 – informatics, 411 –biology, 313 – chemistry, 283 – physical training, 129 – work, 62 - basic military training of youth, 47 – music and singing, 38 – fine arts and drawing. More than 70% applicants chose the vacant positions in Baku.

2177 teachers are needed in Azerbaijan. 374 vacant positions are on Baku city, 1803 – the other cities and regions. The contest for teachers will start on August 1.
