433 suffered from food poisoning in Azerbaijan within six months of 2011

358 facts of food poisoning were recorded in Azerbaijan within the six months of this year.

433 people suffered from food poisoning, director of food hygiene sector of the Republic Hygiene and Epidemiology Center Imran Abdullayev said.

Abdullayev said 18 of these facts were botulism. 36 were infected with botulism, one of them died. The reason of all facts of food poisoning was home-made food, mainly pickled vegetables.
