5630 persons file to vacant teacher positions in Azerbaijani secondary schools

The admission of e-applications for the vacant positions declared on employment of teachers to the Azerbaijani comprehensive schools.

5630 people filed to these places, Chief of Education Ministry’s department for strategic studies and management of personnel Farzali Gadirov said.

According to him, 1165 applications are on teachers of primary class, 948 – English language, 790 – Azerbaijani language and literature, 629 – mathematics, 460 – history, 299 – physics, 257 – informatics, 254 – biology, 193 physical culture. About 50 applications entered on each of basic military training, work, music, dine arts drawing: “More than 70% applicants chose the vacant positions in Baku”.

2177 teachers are needed in Azerbaijan. 347 vacant positions are on Baku city, 1803 – the other cities and regions. The admission of e-applications from teachers will continue till July 15. The contest will start on August 1.
