Population number in Azerbaijan reaches 9.165 mln

Azerbaijan population has increased by 54,000 people to 9,165,000 from early 2011.

SSC says density of population makes 106 persons/1 km²: “53% of population lives in the city, 47% in villages. 49.6% is men, 50.4% - women”.

Committee says the life expectancy for babies born in 2011 makes 73.6 ages, including for boys – 70.9 ages, for girls – 76.2 ages.
