Father kills son in Azerbaijani region of Barda

A murder was committed in Barda region of Azerbaijan. Spokesman for the Republic’s Prosecutor’s Office said that the incident was recorded on July 11 at 23.00 in Kalantarli village of Barda.

Village’s resident, Rzayev Markaz Salman, born in 1941, wounded his son Elshan Rzayev, born in 1976, with a knife as a result of dispute between them. Elshan Rzayev died at Barda City Central Hospital.

The criminal case has been launched on the fact by Barda Region Prosecutor’s Office on Criminal Code’s ¹120.1.

As a result of investigative works conducted by the employees of Region Prosecutor’s and Region Police Department, Markaz Rzayev was detained. During the detention, Rzayev presented the knife and confessed his guilt during interrogate.

The investigation is underway.
