Azerbaijan, Columbia to develop tourism ties

The issue of expanding the cooperation in tourism was discussed at the meeting between Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev, director of the European department of the Columbian Foreign Ministry Alfonso Soria Mendoza and Columbian Ambassador to Russia, Diego Jose Tobon, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism told Trend.

Garayev invited travel agencies operating in Colombia to participate in the Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair, held in Baku annually to further enhance the cooperation in tourism.

Stressing that he was impressed by Azerbaijan, Soria Alfonso Mendoza proposed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on tourism between the two countries.
