Resident of Imishli region of Azerbaijan kills his common-law wife

A murder was committed in Imishli region of Azerbaijan, Region Prosecutor’s Office told APA.

According to information, the incident was recorded in the woodland near Jahar village of Imishli region on July 7.

The body of resident of the region’s Bahramtepe settlement, Elnara Nasirova, born in 1986, was found with violence traces on it. As a result of investigation works, it was known that the deceased was strangled by her common-law husband Mansur Ahmadov, born in 1982. The incident was committed because of jealousy.

The criminal case has been launched on the fact by Imishli Region prosecutor’s Office. The investigative measures are being continued for Ahmadov’s detention.
