The remains of an Azerbaijani aircraft's crew that crashed in Afghanistan will soon be delivered to Baku, Azerbaijani ambassador to Pakistan and Afghanistan Dashgin Shikarov said.
He said the remains of eight crew members have been found. The body of the last victim is being searched.
"The remains of the victims may be identified," he said. "The genetic examination will be held soon to identify the bodies.
He added that the place of holding the examination is not known.
The Azerbaijani side considers unsafe to send relatives of those killed to the crash site, the diplomat said.
The diplomat said that a technical malfunction is not the cause. "From a technical point of view, the aircraft met all requirements," he said. "The aircraft was operated by an experienced crew."
