Must read: How to obtain Azerbaijani citizenship?

This should be of interest to those, who would like to become citizens of Azerbaijan.

According to the Azerbaijani State Migration service:

"Foreigners and stateless persons may be admitted to the citizenship of Azerbaijani Republic based on an application in those cases where they legally reside in for five years, have legitimate income source, are committed to observe the Constitution and legislation of the country and submit relevant documents about being literate of the state language of the Azerbaijani Republic in accordance with the domestic law."

For this purpose, foreigners or stateless persons should apply to the State Migration Service with an application form addressed to the President of Azerbaijan, the service said.
 
The application form includes a statement addressed to the President of Azerbaijani Republic (reflecting reason for citizenship), autobiography, certified copy of identity card, copy of registration certificate for permanent residence in Azerbaijan, copies of identity cards of close relatives, close Azerbaijani citizens and residence certificate for residing in Azerbaijan during the last five years.

Moreover, documents which include certificate on family composition, certificate from the Education Ministry on language literacy, 4 photos (3x4sm), a document certifying the existence of legitimate income source (reference from working place, reference for receiving pension or social aid, aliment, income certificate of persons under maintenance, inheritance certificate, other documents on income and activities allowed by law), the state service said.

Note that the state fee in this case makes up 110 manats.
