Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations sends construction materials to flood areas

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan sent construction materials to the regions suffered from hail, torrential rains and floods.

The next parcel of cargo was sent to the regions of Fuzuli and Gedabey suffered from hail.

Emergency official Ibrahim Guliyev told journalists that three trucks with 3000 asbestos slates left for these regions.

“We are investigating the situation in the disaster zones together with local executive officials. According to the instruction given by the head of state, those regions are supplied with the necessary materials”, said the emergency official.

Guliyev said so far 43 000 slates have been sent to Shamakhi regon, 3000 – to Zagatala and Agsu, they have been supplied with wood and glass materials as well. Totally about 80000 asbestos slates are expected to be sent to all regions.
