Murder committed in Azerbaijani southern city

Yesterday around 21:50, a murder was committed on January 20 street of Lankaran city (313km south from Baku).

The Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported that previously convicted Agali Babayev (1977) stabbed Anar Aliyev (1977) as a result of a personal conflict.

Aliyev was taken to the hospital but doctors couldn't save him. The murderer was detained by the police. The criminal case was launched, further investigation is underway.
