Iraqi Ambassador visits Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture and Tourism

Iraqi ambassador Sheydar Shiya Gubeyshi Al-Barrak visited the Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Minister Abulfaz Garayev stressed historic ties between the two countries and ancient roots of these relations.

Ambassador Haydar Shiya Gubeyshi Al-Barrak highlighted the importance of enhancing trade, economic and cultural relations between the two countries.

During the meeting the ambassador suggested signing of a memorandum on development of ties between the two countries in the tourism sector.

The sides also discussed opening of chartered flights between Baku and Najaf, promoting tourism potential of Azerbaijan in İraq.
