Azerbaijan police officer commits suicide in front of the police department

A suicide was committed in Agsu city of Azerbaijan.

District Police Department told APA’s Shirvan bureau that a sergeant of the local traffic police department Bakhshiyev Asim Arastunoglu, born in1985, on June 9 about at 22:30 in the evening committed suicide in front of the Police Department Agsu district.

Bakhshiyev shot himself by his standard-issue pistol in a traffic police car. The reason of suicide is not known.

Law enforcement officials are working at the scene.

District prosecutor’s office carries out investigation related to issue.
