Most traffic accidents occur in Baku caused by high speed

The traffic accidents killed 108 people and injured 659 in Azerbaijan in January-May 2011, Baku State Traffic Police Department spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Vagif Asadov said.

The traffic accidents registered in the republic mainly caused by 21 percent - overtaking and entering into the oncoming lane. The country recorded 147,988 traffic accidents for five months of the year.
