About 1000 earthquake shocks recorded in Azerbaijan in past three months

About 1000 quakes were recorded in Azerbaijan in the past five months, director of the seismology center Gurban Yetirmishli said.

He said more than 700 earthquake shocks were recorded in the past three months and 6 of them were felt.

Yetirmishli said the seismological situation is in the background level now. As a result of improvement of the monitoring system all quakes and aftershocks are recorded.
