Experts to hold training for Azerbaijani specialists

Experts from the Directorate of Culture, Cultural and Natural Heritage of the Council of Europe will hold trainings for specialists working in cultural heritage 10 Azerbaijani regions in Zagatala region on June 13-14, the Culture and Tourism Ministry said.

The trainings are scheduled to be attended by representatives from the Barda, Goygol, Guba, Lankaran, Ordubad, Sheki, Zagatala and Shamkir regions, the deputy heads of local executive authorities on humanitarian issues, chief architects, and the heads of regional culture and tourism departments.

The event is organized to implement the first phase of a project to restore cultural heritage in historical cities.The event aims at assisting to national, regional and local authorities in the revival of historic cities and their environment through the restoration and reuse of monuments and areas, the implementation of the strategic plan for sustainable social and economic development.
