Azerbaijani government to ensure security of Armenians during Eurovision Song Contest 2012

The Azerbaijani government will ensure the security of Armenians who will take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov told media.

"If Armenia refuses from participating in the contest, it is its business," minister said.

Azerbaijani duo Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) with their pop-ballad "Running Scared" won the Eurovision Song Contest 2011.

Azerbaijan received the highest score - 12 points from Russia, Turkey and Malta. Azerbaijan took 10 points from Ukraine, Greece, Croatia, San Marino, Romania and Moldova.
