"Siemens monuments" to be restored in Gedebey region of Azerbaijan

There are many historical monuments in Gedebey, a western region of Azerbaijan, rich with tourist potential. Some of them, the Siemens monuments, have been built by Germans, once settled in this area.

The works are underway to restore and repair these monuments. The local authorities and the Jade University of Germany have prepared a joint project, "Creation of Geo-Information System on the Siemens Monuments". Relevant material will be placed at the "Google. Mar" website to promote through navigation system the tourists to visit these monuments.

The project also envisions creating museum of Siemens artifacts.
