Azeri representatives attend regional seminar on aid for disabled people in Tajikistan

Representatives of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) Murad Rahimov, chairman of the Azerbaijan Public Union for Anti Mine Campaign Hafiz Safikhanov and others participated in the regional seminar on aid for disabled people in Tajikistan's capital Dushanbe.

Hafiz Safikhanov provided information about Azerbaijan's experience on the first aid for injured people damaged from non-explosive mines and other ammunition and work to be done towards mine action in the Azerbaijan's territories occupied by Armenia.

The seminar was organized by the International Federation of Persons with Physical Disability and French Embassy in Tajikistan.

The seminar brought together representatives from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Tajikistan.

The seminar featured discussions on damages from non-explosive mines and other ammunition to civilians, first aid for injured people, sharing countries' experiences to the effect and other issues.
