Azerbaijani Judicial Council to have new authority

The Azerbaijani Judicial Council will have new authority.

The Council will approve the samples of identification cards of judges, the Azerbaijani Parliament said.

In this regard, it was proposed to amend the law on the Judicial Council and the provisions on the identification cards of judges.

According to the current law, the samples of identification cards of judges of the Supreme Court and appellate courts are approved by the Azerbaijani Parliament, the samples of identification cards of judges of other courts are approved by relevant executive authorities.
