
The Azerbaijani Education Ministry has not received an invitation to the event in Armenia within the co-chairmanship of the country in the Bologna Process, spokesman for the ministry Bayram Huseynzade said.
"If we get the invitation, the Ministry will inform the Foreign Ministry and will act in accordance with the decision of the Foreign Ministry," he said.
Armenian Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan invited Turkish and Azerbaijani representatives to take part in two events, to be held in the republic during the second half of this year under the co-chairmanship in the Bologna Process, Armenian media reports citing the press- service of the Armenian Ministry of Education.
Armenia and Poland will co-chair in the Bologna Process from July 1 to December 31, 2011. The Armenian side plans to organize some activities.
Azerbaijan joined the Bologna Process in 2005.
At present, the Bologna Process involves 45 countries.
