Decline observed in number of crimes in Azerbaijan in 2010

A decline in the number of property crimes was observed in Azerbaijan in 2010 compared to 2009, the chief of the Criminal Investigative Office of the Head Police Department of Baku, police colonel Aliaslan Agayev said at a meeting.

The implementation of decrees and orders of the Azerbaijani President, decisions and orders of the Interior Ministry and other administrative documents was discussed.

There are still some shortcomings in the police's activity in Baku. The concrete measures are made to resolve these shortcomings and to improve the efficiency of search operations. This process will continue.
